Our Mission
Our Mission at Caring Families is simple. We empower individuals to make informed decisions for life. We serve the women and men of our community by providing spiritual, emotional, educational, and material support to them as they seek help with pregnancy related issues. No one should ever have to walk through a pregnancy decision alone.
Our Vision
By showing love, support and care, it's our vision for Caring Families to bring hope, help and healing
to difficult situations. No woman should feel like an abortion is her only option. With the help of our community, we can bring love, resources and compassion to Connecticut to make this a reality.
Our Passion
Through the Women's Center of Eastern Connecticut and Mobile Care mobile van, we are able to provide pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and education on options beyond abortion. We provide community referrals, and client education on healthy relationships, STI and sexual integrity. We offer parenting, mentoring and fatherhood classes, in addition to giving material support, such as diapers, wipes, car seats, clothing and cribs.

Hearts Set Free
Hearts Set Free is the name of our healing and support program. We offer a confidential, non-judgmental environment in which a person can begin the healing process from a past abortion, miscarriage or sexual abuse. We support our clients as they seek to understand the circumstances, thoughts and emotions that are unique to them. CLICK HERE to learn more.
